Moving Pricing

We believe that honest pricing provides the best foundation for a long-lasting relationship. Below is a detailed breakdown of our pricing structure. This pricing structure was made in allignment with the Public Service Commission State of South Carolina.

Transportation Charges and Rates

MONDAY - SUNDAY
Monday to Thursday (Off-Peak):
Truck + 2 Movers: $140.00/hour
Truck + 3 Movers: $180.00/hour
Each Additional Mover: $50.00/hour

Friday to Sunday (Peak):
Truck + 2 Movers: $150.00/hour
Truck + 3 Movers: $200.00/hour
Each Additional Mover: $60.00/hour

Note: All moves are subject to a minimum charge of 2 hours. Time is calculated from arrival at the origin until job completion.

Fuel & Mileage Charges

A mileage fee of $1.50 per mile applies to all moves.
Mileage is calculated from Spartanburg Moving LLC’s parking location to the destination and back (round-trip).

No hidden charges—just a straightforward mileage rate.

Upright Piano (up to 500 lbs): $150.00
Gun Safe/Cabinet (up to 500 lbs): $150.00
Hot Tub: $250.00
Pool Table: $150
Golf Cart: $250 

‍Note: These charges are in addition to the hourly moving rates.

‍Packing Materials Charges
Small Box: $4.50 each
Medium Box: $6.50 each
Large Box: $8.00 each
Wardrobe Box: $18.00 each
Packing Paper (per bundle): $35.00
Tape (per roll): $5.50

Storage/Overnight Truck Storage:
$250.00 per truck, per day.
A fee of $100 per hour will be charged for waiting time after the first hour of complimentary waiting during a move.

Spedcial Fees: Holidays
Holiday Surcharge: An additional 20% on the hourly rate applies on the following government-recognized holidays:
New Year’s Day (January 1)
Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Third Monday in January)
Presidents' Day (Third Monday in February)
Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
Juneteenth National Independence Day (June 19)
Independence Day (July 4)
Labor Day (First Monday in September)
Veterans Day (November 11)
Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November)
Christmas Day (December 25)

Wait Time:
Any time lost due to customer-caused delays will be billed at the applicable hourly rate.

Additional Carry Fees
Elevator or Stair Carry: $50 per flight of stairs (up to 15 steps per flight).
Elevator charges apply only when additional handling is required.
